Canadian Diva Celine Dion Proved That You Can Look Better In 50 Years Than In 20

The diva with amazing vocal has an amazing life story as well.

Celine Marie Claudette Dion, or known globally as Celine Dion, is a diva with a unique voice who is most known for her contribution to the classic ‘Titanic’ film. She sang ‘My Heart Will Go On’ which becomes a classic OST everyone knows.

She is one of the world’s most renowned performers for her particular amazing ballad songs. Her voice is gold even when she’s already 51 much like Janet Jackson.

She also sings in other languages and one of her album, “D’eux”, which came out in 1995, became world’s best seller for an album not in English.

Celine Dion was born in 1968 in Quebec, Canada and was named after the French song “Céline”.

She had 13 older siblings and was the youngest in her family and had always had music as part of her life. She began working as a singer in clubs.

“I missed my family and home, but I do not regret that I lost my youth. I had one dream: I wanted to be a singer,” she once said in an interview.

At the age of 12, she already wrote her own song which music manager René Angélil was fascinated with So much. so that he sold his house to promote the young star.

She later sang “La voix du bon Dieu” (“Voice of the Lord”) which was a hit in Quebec.

Dion was a fan of Michael Jackson and wanted to be like him. But her manager told her to find her own style instead, to which she, fortunately, listened to.

Unfortunately, she has been singing the wrong way and lost her voice. She took a 3 weeks-break after winning Eurovision and dental surgery.

After the recovery, she began singing lessons and finally her first English album. Then, she sang ‘Beauty and the Beast’ which became another hit.

She embraced her French origin by rejecting Felix Prize for English Artist of the Year nomination to win back the heart of French.

It was ‘My Heart Will Go On’ track for James Cameron’s ‘Titanic’ that she is now best known for. It won her Oscar, Golden Globe and 2 Grammy Awards.

After another 3-year break for her family time, she returned and performed with John Elton in 2006.

The 26-year age gap didn’t stop them from falling in love with each other. They didn’t start dating until 1988 when Dion was 20.

After two small operations, Dion had her first son René-Charles Angelil in 2001.

She then had a twin of boys, Eddie and Nelson, in 2001.

After 23 years together, René Angélil lost his battle with cancer after 20 years and passed away at the age of 73.
