Their baby boy has finally arrived. Meghan Markle – The Duchess of Sussex was reported due in April, and just like any first time mother, she eventually went into labor few days past her due date. With the Sussex Royal Social Media feeds on Monday, the royal baby weighs about 7 Ibs, 3oz.
The post stated: “The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well,” reads the post, “and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives.” However, the couple announced that their first born child is named Archie Harrison Mountbattern-Windsor; this was disclosed via an Instagram post right after the new born baby was introduced to his great mother and great father – Queen Elizabeth Duke of Edinburgh.
Where did Meghan Give Birth?
Just like how Queen Elizabeth gave birth to all four of her children, Meghan delivered baby boy Archie at home. Archie was believed to have been given birth in Frogmore House – this was the couple’s cottage that was renovated for an estimated £3m in Windsor.
Could the Baby Become King One Day?
Yes he could, although there are already about six royals lined up in the queue. Additionally, Prince Harry and Meghan’s newborn baby is the Seventh line in the throne and the new arrival cousin named Princess Charlotte, Prince George and Prince Louis are also all in front.
