The epic and adventurous movie –Game of Thrones have spent virtually eight long years and currently towards its grand finale. With GOT season 8, Episode 5 and 6 leaked, fans are already deliberating on how the end would be. It would be recalled that Ned Stark before he died in the first season was warned by Cersei Lannister that playing the games of throne involves either winning or death. That warning and iconic statement have however gotten the movie more complicated as episodes from HBO keeping rolling in. Interestingly, the seven kingdoms are playing politically; Jon Snow has equally discovered some basic truth about himself and Daenery’s has learnt how to govern – these two leader’s growing romance is getting more intense.
Arya Stark has killed the Night King and Cersei feels she has a pretty chance of keeping the throne; this will happen if she doesn’t get killed eventually. However, the battle for the Iron Throne is the forefront and center conflict of the GOT Season 8, and who is eventually going to win it all, has been boggling the mind of many fans and critic. It is expected that some will have to die, but who will be declared the winner is what Season 8 battle is all about. According to fan predictions, Daenerys Targaryen, Cersei Lannister, Sansa Stark, Jon Snow, Euron Greyjoy, Bran Stark, Baby Lannister, Tyrion Lannister, and Miracle Baby Targaryen are contenders for the Iron Throne but argued extensively that the throne could end up with Daenerys Targaryen or Jon Snow.
Jon Snow, the son of Aegon Targaryen might
actually just win the battle of the Iron Throne. The argument for Snow’s rule
was clearly explained in Episode 4 of GOT season 8 by the Varys and
interestingly he is regarded as a reluctant ruler that is best fit for the
seven kingdoms after years of wars. While Snow also has the most legitimate
claim, the throne can easily be in his grasp even if get married to Daenerys or
if he backstabbed her and takes the throne. However, as a good bloodline, fans say he
deserves to be crowned the Iron Throne.
It is obvious that since the inception of the movie, GOT has been paving ways for Daenerys Targaryen to become the benevolent ruler of the Seven Kingdom. She will, however, have to deal with Euron Greyjoy and Cersei Lannister. And with her Unsullied and Dothraki armies wiped out, guess she would have to deal with her enemies with her still-living dragon. She equally has people around her secretly arguing her future as Queen of the Seven Kingdom. Additionally, Daenerys Targaryen has the firepower and the alliances to be able to seize a city and claim the throne.
Since the beginning of the GOT season 8, Cersei has had quite some weeks. Aside Euron whom she actually controls, Cersei might be the last living villain of the adventurous movie. Since she is fierce about holding on to the throne and willing to kill anybody in order to keep it, the fan says she might actually become the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms. This can, however, be true as HBO has not in any way promised or mentioned a happy ending.
