Ninth Fast and Furious Movie is Happening

Yes! The Ninth Fast and Furious Episode is definitely happening – although the official title of the movie by the time it hit the Cinema is still very much unclear. After the last series, the major character – Vin Diesel had took his social media to announce that he plans to see the movie through to ten films and two decades – implying that Fast and Furious 9 marks the second-to-the-last episode for the movie.

Till date, every entry of the Fast and Furious character has received PG-13 rating from the MPAA and with the ninth series currently in development, it is expected that the rating doesn’t change.  The next movie is however likely to be suitable for a family that have older kids.

When is the Official Release Date?

With the release of the Fate of the Furious in April 2017, we obviously have to wait for another few years more before the next character of the movie. However, Fast and Furious 9 is slated for April 10, 2020. This is one year late than what the movie had earlier planned.

The Fast and Furious franchise is not a stranger to disagreements behind the scenes, and its look like things have begun to heat up – as seen via Tyrese Gibson and Dwayne Johnson Social Media Account. Specifically, Tyrese called out Johnson for delaying the development of the movie and expectedly, Johnson started firing back and this look like yet another cycle of Fast and Furious actors taking sides. As of right now, it is definitely unclear how this drama is going to affect the final lapse of the film (if it will), but it displays that we might be in for another boisterous shoot for some of these actors.

Fast and Furious 9 Story

Currently, there are no definite plot details for the Ninth Fast and Furious Movie. But given the fact that Dom betrayed the team in the Eighth Fast and Furious movie, it seems highly likely that we will see more of the organized “family” dynamics in the upcoming film.  Similarly, with Cipher still on the free it will also makes sense to assume that her shadow will continue to droop over these major characters.

However, not only are we about to get another series but it looks like the car racing series has taken a hint from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Yes, that’s right!
