Jason Momoa Responded After Critics Slammed Him For Having A ‘Dad Bod’

Earlier this month a full picture of Jason Momoa on the beach during his vacation with his wife, Lisa Bonet, went viral. Not because it’s Jason Momoa, but because it shows topless Aquaman with a… ‘dad bod’.

Of course, some fans were shocked at the changes. “Omg, what happened to the abs?” was probably the most common thing people were asking. The Justice League star, however, had not responded and probably didn’t think much about it.

But Momoa responded carefreely, “Oh, that’s alright.”

The 40-year-old star from ‘Aquaman’ also was not bothered by the negative comments on his body. This came out after the surprise 40th birthday party he and Emilia Clarke, his on-screen wife, attended.

Fans also came to his defense, “Those who say he looks bad to have nothing better to do with their time. I read about this body-shaming just now as I was reading the news and decided to take a look. This man is beautiful, and from what I hear – inside and out. How many of you sad shamers can say that? Pfft!”

In reactions to the criticism, Jason Momoa replied, “Tell TMZ I’ll show you my dad bod soon!”

‘Aquaman’ grossed $1.148 billion worldwide which topped almost twice of what ‘Justice League’ made. A second installment, ‘Aquaman 2’, is happening and set for release on December 2022. The slightly big gap in between the movies could be explained by the total reboot of the franchise by DC Universe as they are bringing in new writers such as James Gunn to revive it.

Well, we are definitely waiting for that to happen!
