Terminator 6 Is Going to Ignore The Last Three Movies

James Cameron is back and he’s gonna get everything right once and for all.

Linda Hamilton has long since been gone from the Terminator universe since its revival in late 2000s. Now that we’ve got the confirmation that Linda is going to star again in the new Terminator installment, she reveals something about the plot that will keep everyone on their toes.

Paramount is bringing James Cameron back to revive the show again. The last three shows, mainly boosted by their popularity back in the days, have been receiving negative feedback from the mass. With the lack of familiar characters and plot getting strewn everywhere, Cameron is looking forward to getting things in order once more.

And to do that, Cameron has decided to write and continue where he left off: Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Linda Hamilton also expresses her agreement to the decision of the plot, shown during her interview at CinemaCon.

“They’re very forgettable, aren’t they? … You start something and you’re invested in the franchise, but somehow the characters that you care about weren’t there. Too many people, too many story points. So I think we’ve done a good job of narrowing down the focus again so it will echo the first two films.”

Cameron won’t be serving as the director this time, but he is directly involved in developing the plot and will serve as the producer. It’s exciting to think about the original director possibly bringing the show back on its track with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton reprising their roles as the Terminator and Sarah Connor.
