Backstreet Boys Releases Acoustic Version ‘I Want It That Way’ As They Celebrate Thousand-Years-Anniversary

It’s indeed twenty (20) years ago, Backstreet Boys delivered their third most-sold-out-international album at 1.3million copies in the first week, setting up a record for the best sales week in the history of the entertainment industry as at that time – and went on to sell over 9.4million copies in the year -1999. While the band was also known for its ‘Show me the meaning of being lonely as well as for Larger than life song, the band most well hit song was however ‘I Want It That Way’.

Positively, the band then supporters and fan can still very much remember the guys performing the single ‘I Want It That Way’ on MTV Total Request Live in 1999, not to mention the group memorable performance at Los Angeles International Airport. However, the hit song has impressed out a legacy for the entertainment industry, with billboard recognition in 2018 as the greatest boy-band song of all time. And now to celebrate their millennium anniversary, the Backstreet Boys just released an acoustic version of their then biggest hit song – ‘I Want It That Way’.
