Anyways, Bill Skarsgard, who is best known for playing Pennywise – the dancing clown and the creepy antagonist in the horror film series has explained what it’s like driving around Hollywood wearing the Pennywise the clown makeup.
Being part of the marketing push for the 2nd installment – It: Chapter 2, the actor graced the cover of September’s CR Men’s Escaping The Decade issue. In his photo-shoot for the issue, Skarsgard got transformed into a local news reporter as he discussed a wide range of subjects exploring fears, trends of the 2010s and thoughts.
The latest edition of the CR Men will be hitting the newsstands on September 5 while It: Chapter 2 hits the cinema on September 6.
Aged 29, the actor in an interview revealed how he had to drive around Hollywood with the Pennywise The Clown Makeup on his face after auditioning for the second time.
“It was like a metaphor for what the profession of acting really feels like.” The born star, who is Sweden equally opened up his thoughts on the profession of acting in America’s celebrity hub.
“In America, movie stars are normally taught to say they are boring, but they don’t expect us to really trust them. I wholeheartedly prefer the Sweden system where it prizes all actors as craftsmen and not as celebrities.”
Skarsgard added: “Involving oneself into acting is quite an expensive means of letting the inner child/teen play again. I am a bit strange but certainly not an outsider.” Skarsgard explained has he honestly described himself.
Nevertheless, Bill’s dad, Stellan had starred in Good Will Hunting while the youngest of the Skarsgard family of actors is Brother Alexander of True Blood Fame.
