Scarlett Johansson has flown to Ørsta, Norway to start the filming of her standalone movie from Marvel, Black Widow. According to the set pictures leaked, Scarlett was picked up by a VIP car from the airport and a local newspaper, Sunnmørsposten has confirmed that the filming of Black Widow is supposed to take place there. A van with a working title of the movie plastered on it, Blue Bayou, is also seen nearby.
Filming was set to start somewhere in June and while this is a little early, the pictures show figures who look very similar to her. It was also reportedly revealed that the filming set is taking place in the UK, at Pinewood Studios campus.
The timeline of Black Widow is going to stretch quite a bit, from bits of flashbacks of Nat’s childhood before Avengers to sometime after Captain America: Civil War and in between Infinity War and Endgame. Writers of Endgame, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely weren’t actually fully aware of the standalone movie.
“We weren’t fully aware of [the Black Widow movie], but, even when that became clearer that it was one of the things that they were intending to do, no one told us not to do what we were doing.”
