Google Pixel 4 XL Official Design Confirmed
It seem some people have decided to hate the new design.
Google Pixel series has always suffered from unwanted leakages that can happen even months before the official date and design is confirmed. Maybe Google doesn’t want people to get ahead of them when it comes with their own smartphones, so they’ve officially released the design of their new Pixel 4.
Expected ship date for the phone will not be earlier than October this year.
Rumors easily floated and circulated around their older models back before they were even unveiled. There were hands-on tests, photographs, and even a Pixel 3 XL left behind in a Lyft. Google reportedly explains that a batch had been stolen and sold in the Ukranian black market.
The design has two rear cameras aligned horizontally with the sensor on top. We see another tiny dot and that could be the camera module, but we never know.
Do people like it or hate it? The reception is mixed. The design of the rear camera is unfortunately similar to the infamous iPhone camera designs that recently came out. Speaking to The Verge, a Google spokesperson says that nothing more will be released and that it is indeed the Pixel 4 design.
But hey, Google made some pretty good moves in providing what the people want and need. For example, their Google Pixel 3a is one of the best affordable smartphone to date. It’s also expected that the new Pixel 4 XL will be bigger than its predecessors.
Pixel 4 is going to have thin bezel to provide a face ID system that is on par with Apple’s as well as Project Soli technology. Project Soli allows users to engage in activities by hovering their fingers over the screen. This will serve as leverage for their products in comparison to other Android gadgets.
