Heartless Locals Takes Turns To Ride A Leatherback Turtle On The Indonesian Beach
Leatherback sea turtle remains the largest of all turtles the fourth-biggest reptile.
The video witnessed residents on an Indonesian Beach naughtily riding on the back of a scarce giant sea turtle. Filmed on Friday, the leatherback sea turtle was captured by locals while laying its egg on the beach.
The leatherback sea turtle remains the largest of all turtles and is regarded as the fourth-biggest reptile. Interestingly, its name comes from its absence of bony shell as it’s covered in skin and oily flesh.
As seen in the video, an elderly man sat on the back of the leatherback sea turtle, another egg on him while a third stood behind, flaunting a heavy tree branch as a club.

Afterward, a young man took turns as he rides the reptile. He was witnessed nonchalantly eating a snack. Accordingly, another took a second place as he perches on the animal’s back with his feet on its head.

Struggling to crawl back to the sea, the video saw a potbelly elderly man also riding the turtle. Another, in yellow shorts, threw a handful of sand at the reptile tail, in a bid to goad it on, then gave it a shove before grabbing one of the reptile flippers.

The man was then seen standing on both the marine reptile’s hind flippers as it lurches the remaining yards to the water’s edge. Even as the reptile crawls into waves, the man stood on the turtle’s back and was cheered by companions.
