Marvel Writer Says Next Wolverine Will Be Taron Egerton
He might just be right again.
Mark Millar is a prominent writer of the Marvel Universe and he’s popular thanks to some of his amazing works on ‘Kingsman’ and ‘Kick-Ass’. Mar Millar is now probably known as a psychic because he’s predicted the future twice on his comics.
Yup, he’s never wrong.
Hugh Jackman has stepped down from his role as the Wolverine for 17 years since 2000. The role has been empty since then, with his conclusive death making it important that a comeback is done properly. Speculations have arisen as to who should be done the next title of the Wolverine.
Mark Millar took it to Twitter to make his prediction that Taron Egerton will be next. And people can’t take his words lightly; he’s, after all, the guy who has written and inspired many Marvel Studios’ movies from ‘Avengers’ to ‘Logan’.
Egerton is now famously remembered as Gary ‘Eggsy’ Unwin from the Kingsman series. And yes, this means Millar and Egerton have a working history which makes everything seems smoother. The rumor is not unfounded, although, Egerton is not convinced that it’ll be anything more than that.
“That one, I think, is just a rumor. As far as I’m aware it’s unfounded. I don’t know if I’m quite grisly enough,” Egerton commented on an interview on Heart Breakfast.
Egerton won’t be in the third installment of the Kingsman movie, which is titled ‘The King’s Man’. It’s a prequel that shows how the secretive agency first came into existence. However, Egerton will return on ‘Kingsman 3’ which would be the fourth installment.
