Instantly, she got several replies, to which many opined she should use fire to get rid of the intruder. ‘Just kill it with fire,’ a woman suggested while another user in a joking manner said she should ask the eight-legged spider to pay rent.

Perhaps, much easier to burn down your house at this point,’ a man commented.

Acknowledging, she had tried to remove the spider with a container but resulted in failure as it was the adult size, Ms. Clarke added: “I don’t really have a big container! And when I went closer to the Spidey with a phone light, it came at me lifting its legs and fangs. Hell Nah!”

Reacting, another user opined Ms. Clarke burn the spider with an aerosol can and with a lighter, but others warned it could result in being severe.

‘I suggest you don’t take the Mt Isa approach which is deodorant and a lighter as you can burn down your home and top the news – all because of a spider,’ a woman warned.

Nevertheless, Ms. Clarke call for assistance was answered and she got the spider detached from her ceiling! She was indeed relieved.
