An engaged girlfriend who claimed her fiancé sold their home to get a perfect purple diamond ring has been mocked by internet users who acknowledged the ring look like a costume Jewellery.
The Unnamed woman, who hailed from the United States posted the photograph of her flower-like purple diamond ring to a group titled “That’s It, I’m Ring Shaming
Wanting a praise response, the bride to be disclosed “Yes, It is very real and custom-designed and it’s a purple diamond. Look at it alongside the snap.”
Afterward, she disclosed that she and her fiancé sold their home in order to pay for the engagement ring. “We sold our home to get the perfect ring. It’s a purple diamond. Look at it.’ She wrote.
She added: “No nail shaming! I work in a retail store. Sure it has nothing to do with my nails. I’m just lazy and I paint them every 3 months.”
Social Media Users were, however ready for the bride-to-be. Many were less impressed with the engagement ring with one commenting that the ring looks like ‘part of a fairy dress-up costume.’
“Why would you sell your home for a ring. Let alone a ring that appears like part of a fairy dress-up costume.’ Another user wrote.
“This is a prank. Either that or y’all have way more intensive issues than the ring. Selling your home for a ring? Good luck in life. Y’all desperately need it.” a third user wrote.
