This is not about a touch of Mascara, Faint Powder or an under-eye cover up to smooth the face, mothers are going into a full face beat and are media sharing ready.
Although it might seem weird for some mothers to prepare and face the camera during labor, a record from the Cosmetics has disclosed that about 64% of women between the ages of 18-31 get beauty treatments before heading into labor.
These beauty treatments, Cosmetify explained it include Manicure – 57%, Hair Removal -65%, Spray Tan – 37%, Styling or Blow dry cut – 32%, and Pedicure -43%.
While giving birth is actually not a new thing, women actually have different reason as to why they want to get beauty treatments before labor.
The imagination of giving birth has been stigmatized for years and a lot of women seek for a whole new reality of childbirth. The equation is finally solved and some individuals are keying into the trend.
When questioned about why mothers are now so concerned about their appearance after giving birth, the same record revealed that mothers want to remain good in pictures, presentable for guests, avoid looking drained and exhausted, and avoid looking ill.
Another study disclosed that an average woman going into labor applies makeup on their face within two-and-a-half hours.
