Recently Motorola has announced that its iconic Razr phone was going to be released in a 2019 updated version.
Casting our minds back to the early day of 2005 when mobile technology was not as sophisticated as it is today, one mobile device that was able to stand out in crown despite the unfavorable market situation was the Motorola Razr.
The phone which came out as one of a kind back then was one of the few mobile devices with a sleek design. Thin, portable and pretty lightweight.
However, over the years, with the spontaneous development in technology, mobile devices have become much smaller, thinner as well as more sophisticated which has almost sent the legendary Motorola Razr into oblivion.
The good news now is that the iconic Motorola Razr phone has been slated to return to the limelight through the reported partnership between Lenovo owners of Motorola and Verizon. The updated smartphone is expected to be made out of the recent futuristic technology of foldable screen technology.
Despite the fact that the original version of the Motorola Razr sold over 50 million devices at the initial stage of its release, a report has it that the new updated version of the phone will be produced only in limited quantity. The Motorola Company noted that it will be producing only about 200,000 pieces of the updated version of the Razr.
The new futuristic device is anticipated to cost about $1,500 since its predecessor cost about $600 when it was released.
If you have been a fan of the Motorola Razr phone, just exercise a little bit of patience and wait for the upgrade with both present and futuristic technologies. Stay alert!
