Mentally strong people try not to complain about their situation despite the pressure it mounts on them. Instead, they choose to fix their focus on trying to fix the problem. They understand that dwelling in problems does not as a matter of fact make the situation any better.

Mentally tough people don’t blame others for their misfortunes or expect someone else to come and fix their problems. While they utilize the support systems when things get really tough, they don’t wait for someone to come and pull them out of the muck.
For mentally strong people, taking charge of the situation gives them a sense of satisfaction in life. They take responsibility for themselves and steer their lives to the direction they desire.

Mentally strong people understand that they have to write the script to their own life. With that said, creating a life you love doesn’t come easily. You’ll face many obstacles, but in doing so, you’ll have a deeper appreciation for your life when you overcome them.
4. They let go of bad things in life
Anything that doesn’t enhance their life has to go. Mentally strong people know that in order to create the life they desire, they need to let go of the baggage that no longer serves their best interest. This includes, toxic relationships, drugs or alcohol, eating the wrong foods, or something else, that tempts them but they have learned to stay away from such. They might indulge every once in a while, but they get right back on track and follow habits that add value to their lives.
5. Mentally strong people stand their ground
This means saying “no” when something doesn’t feel right to them. They exert boundaries so that they maintain their integrity and don’t let others walk all over them. If they can’t fit something into their schedule, they have no problem letting someone know that.
Mentally strong people also don’t mind
standing alone in life if it means standing up for what they believe in.
