Best Upcoming Movies in 2019: Trailers And Release Dates

The Avengers: Endgame might be topping the chart in the Cinema, but there are still plenty of mind-blowing movies coming up this year. You might not have all the time to watch all of the series and movies displayed on Netflix, HBO, Amazon among others, but there’s virtually something special about watching a movie on the big screen. Luckily, these upcoming movies are exciting to save up for.

As expected is Marvel’s Studios, SpiderMan: Far From Home which is currently getting reviews via its recent released trailer. Other movies to watch out for include Aladdin, The Lion King, Men in Black, Dark Fate, Godzilla, John Wick: Chapter 3 and Terminator. Oh yeah, there are also many other smaller movies that might eventually sweep you off your feet, such as BrightBurn and Tolkien.

John Wick: Chapter 3 (May 17, 2019)

Chad Stahelski will complete this hit action series he started with John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.  Parabellum, however, means ‘prepare for war. Picking up after Wick was ‘excommunicated’ from the criminal underworld in Chapter 2, he is now on the run in New York with a $14 million price tag on his head!   Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane, and Lance Reddick are all back for more action in Chapter 3 but are joined by Halle Berry, Angelica Huston, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Jason Mantzoukas. 

Aladdin (May 24, 2019)

This is another Disney animation movie – Aladdin to watch for this year. Will Smith is taking on the role of the all-powerful genie and despite the obvious pressure, he feels very confident that he can do the character justice.

Godzilla: King of Monsters (May 31, 2019)

Co-written by Michael Dougherty, Godzilla: King of the Monsters is setting up the long talked about Godzilla vs King Kong showdown with the synopsis reading: “The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah.” 

Men in Black International (June 14, 2019)

Featuring Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson, as well as Rebecca Ferguson, Liam Neeson, Kumail Nanjiani, and Emma Thompson who will reprise her role as Agent O, Head of the Men in Black from Men in Black 3, rumour has it that the plot will focus on an alien invasion on a global scale. The latest trailer for MIB is more than just enough to get you hyped and impatiently wait for the release.
