British Woman Fell In Love With An Italian Man Used Google Translate To Talk And Are Together For Two Years Now

True love found through Google Translate.

23-year-old Chloe Smith was smitten on the very first night she met Daniele Marisco, 25, who is an Italian man from Naples, Italy. The only problem they had was that none of them could understand each other as Chloe was a British and Daniel was Italian.

So, they resorted to Google Translate and 2 years later, the two are in love with each other like every day is their first.

The two first met in a nightclub in Ibiza where techno music was blasting loud. It didn’t matter as they would still not understand each other. But Chloe didn’t let that stop her from hitting on him. They talked through Google Translate and watched videos together in subtitles.

“There was something exciting about Daniele – the fact we couldn’t understand each other wasn’t a problem. We just clicked,” said Chloe.

Both of them the very next day after the club.

“I made the first move and asked him for his number because I just found him so attractive,” admitted Chloe. “Despite never having a foreign boyfriend before, I knew I liked him, and I knew he would learn one day. Sometimes you must do these things for love.

“Some people thought I was crazy when I went to Barcelona with him after only knowing him for one week but I just knew it would be the best decision I could ever make,” Chloe speaking of their first travel together.

“Within six months, we had probably been on more city breaks than some couples have in years. He is spontaneous and that’s what I love.”

“I went to live with him and his family in Naples in 2016 and it was a dream come true (pictured above). It is one of the most authentic and beautiful cities I have visited in Europe.

“The more time we spent together the less we used the Google translator, and now it is once in a blue moon when Daniele doesn’t know the name of something in English,” Chloe added.

What seemed like a holiday fling is now turning more and more serious for them. What does Daniel sees in Chloe?

“Chloe talked and laughed a lot, but I didn’t understand. The only thing I understood was that she was special. We wanted to be together from the moment we met and that is why we worked. She helped me learn English and I have helped her learn how to cook Italian food.”

He added, “We have proved any doubters that we’re meant to be. From the very start, I had a good feeling about Chloe. She is my soulmate.”

What do you think? Is this true love or maybe just an extended holiday fling?
