Disney Cancels Red Carpet Event Of ‘Descendants 3’ To Honor Cameron Boyce

In honor of the star from ‘Descendants 3’, Cameron Boyce, Disney has decided to cancel the premiere red carpet event and will instead donate to a good cause. Disney will contribute to a charity that is close to Boyce’s wishes, which is the Thirst Project that helps provide clean water to communities around the world.

Cameron himself has raised $30,000 for the project and Disney will add to bring his dream come true. In response to this, Disney also commented:

“We are proud to be part of Cameron Boyce’s legacy by showcasing his talents on screen but we are canceling the red carpet premiere event for ‘Descendants 3’ scheduled for July 22 and instead, The Walt Disney Company will make a donation to the Thirst Project, a philanthropic organization to which Cameron was deeply committed. Thank you for understanding.”

Cameron Boyce played Carlos, Cruella De Ville’s son in the film series Descendants. He had always appeared in every single movie and first made his debut in Disney’s Jessie from 2011. He also appeared in “Jake and the Never Land Pirates” and Disney XD series “Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything.”

The telecast of ‘Descendants 3’ will also be dedicated to Cameron Boyce with permission from his family. He was only 20 years old when Cameron Boyce was repeated to have passed away in his sleep due to epilepsy.
