Guy Dresses Up As Batman Rescues Shelter Animals From Euthanasia And Unite Them With A Family

Chris is hoping that his pilot’s license will eventually one day allow him to use air travel.

Superheroes are not just in Hollywood movies, the world now also have a real superhero in town! Not all heroes wear capes, but this animal-planet saver wears a cooler one. And what is the coolest thing a superhero can do? Better when fighting for the voiceless.

The new friendly superhero has been rescuing animals left in the shelters. Aged, 27 and named Chris Van Dorn, the new animal hero had always been a fan of Batman. He started volunteering for animal rescue agencies within Orlando, Florida and decided to bring people to understanding the significance of pet adoption.

Particularly, Chris uses his Batman costume to keep his superhero mission secretive but brought his good deed to limelight when GoFundMe declared him the ‘Hero’ In May.

Interestingly, Chris has launched a non-profitable organization titled “Batman4Paws” in 2018. Since the launch, he has been on several journeys across the country to rescue animals from euthanasia and to unite them with a family.

“As a child, I looked up to the values that superheroes such as Batman reflected and thought that would be the perfect vessel to embody the spirit of goodwill. Thus, the crazy idea of Batman4Paws was born.” Chris explained on his Go FundMe account.

Chris drives a Honda Accord, but hope to meet a giver that could donate a bigger van in a bid to rescue more animals. He is equally hoping that his pilot’s license will eventually one day allow him to use air travel as a more effective means of transporting these animals.

“I would help rescue animals in need anyway I can, all while dressed as the Dark Knight himself and becoming a symbol for helping those in need,” Chris added.
