James Gunn Said “Don’t Worry” To Asgardians Of The Galaxy
James Gunn finally opened up… sort of.
James Gunn was finally let into the next installment of Guardians of the Galaxy. Volume 3 of the movie is going to feature the galaxy-rescuer team and there is a high possibility that they are going to dive deep into Starmora (the name of the ship between Gamora and Peter) as well as how Nebula learns to fit into her new family.
Additionally, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor was seen leaving the throne to the hand of the last Valkyrie to find another purpose in life. He teased the name Asgardians of the Galaxy, which is the title of a comic series by Cullen Bunn and Matteo Lolli.
Chris showed his eagerness to be able to portray the God of Thunder once more. During his press tour for his currently playing movie ‘Men in Black: International’, he said:
“I’d play that character [Thor] again. I love it so much – especially if there’s something unique to do again with it. I felt like the last three films were very, very different each time. It really felt like a totally different character. And I don’t even know when or if they’re shooting [Guardians of the Galaxy 3].”
“Asgardians Of The Galaxy. That’s actually great. You might’ve just got me my next job. Thank you, man,” he added.
Recently, James Gunn decided to answer to the pleas of fans on his Instagram stories. Among them, he wrote, “Don’t worry.” after putting cropped screenshots of people begging him to not let the next Guardians of the Galaxy title be Asgardians of the Galaxy.
Is this a foreshadowing? Or is Gunn being sarcastic in saying so? Honestly, I wouldn’t mind, either way, Guardians of the Galaxy has always been fun and adding Thor would just mean we get to see new ways Thor is done by a different director.
