Mum Gives Birth To 13-Pound Baby And Says She’s Done Having Kids For Good
Newly-born weighs a maximum of 8.8 pounds.
Carrying a baby for nine-months is always special, and giving birth to the baby remains one of the most memorable things that has ever happened to Dr. Eric Edelenbos and Corbitt family.

Being her fourth child, Christine is used to giving birth to relatively huge babies. Her first three kids weighed in at around nine to 10 pounds.
Normally, Newly-born weighing a maximum of 8.8 pounds are categorized under high birth weight, but Christine pregnancy did take a top-notch.
“Towards the conclusion of my pregnancy, I was like Oh my gosh, she’s so huge,” Christine told Action News Jax.
As a result of the size of Christine’s baby coupled with the health challenge involve in giving birth to her fourth child, the doctors reached a consensus of undergoing a C-section.
Christine added: “ It very much looked like they pulled a toddler out of my tummy.” Accordingly, Christine recalled that the doctors were surprised and equally laughing as it was something they have never experienced nor seen before now.
Her fourth child, named Carleigh Brooke Corbitt was welcomed to the family and she weighed 13 pounds and 5 ounces.
“I’ve before now nine and 10-pound babies and I deduced Carleigh will be 10 pounds. I’d have another 10-pound baby, but she did surprise me.” Christine stated further.
Reacting, Carleigh dad, named Larry acknowledged their baby instantly wore a size 3 diapers and disclosed their newly born daughter was delivered six days sooner than expected.
Also speaking, Dr. Eric Edelenbod said: “When the baby was coming out, I was like, ‘Is this baby ever going to end?’Everyone in the room froze during the delivery and was like ‘Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh.”
However, Carleigh was held back in the NICU for a longer time. The doctors wanted to be sure she was entirely healthy.
“I’m done. I’m done No more kids for me.” Christine said with a smile.
