Taron Egerton Tears Up at Rocketman Cannes Premiere

Rocketman is officially opening on May 31.Taron Egerton had received a show of support from the crowd at yesterday – Thursday Rocketman World Premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. Seen in a clip that went viral on the internet, Egerton the 29-year old actor who plays the iconic singer in the upcoming music biopic alongside with Elton John were seen looking emotional – I mean in tears as the crowd gave both men a standing ovation.

Earlier, reports disclosed that Egerton had shared memorable moments with Elton John by getting down on one knee to tie John’s shoe. Similarly, Egerton, who appeared at the Cannes Premiere with a shiny silver jacket paired with black pants, was also caught on camera- kissing the back of John’s hand.

In the movie, not only does Egerton have an Elton’s look and mannerisms, he also musters up enough to give a performance that’s joyously give peace.

However, the 72-year old music legend was seen with a black suit jacket that reads “Rocketman” on the back. Written in sparkly silver letters, John had a red rocket design on the front. He however, paired the suit with a silver studded heart shaped sunglasses – making him look astonishing.
