Apparently, Summer has reached its boiling point across Western Europe. Happening over the past week, the United Kingdom’s Met Office recently tweeted that London’s Heathrow Airport reached about 98.4 degrees (36.9⁰C), making it a new record in the month of July.

With the heat in Cambridge, England rises to 100.5 (38⁰C), it marks the second time triple-digit temperatures have been documented in the United Kingdom.

While the United Kingdom is the only one out of many countries to break records. Accordingly, Paris, France reported about 108 degrees (42.6⁰C), the highest temperature reported since the beginning of the week.

“Climate change has improved the likelihood and cruelty of heatwave episodes across Europe,” the United Kingdom National Weather Service explained.
