The movie has been confirmed to be streamed on Netflix next year and Victoria Pedretti is confirmed to return to play a new role in the next season as Dani. The Netflix Original series is really sending viewers and enthusiasts of the previous season on the hype for some spooks.
The new confirmed season will be titled ‘The Haunting of Bly Manor’ and is based on another Henry James’ novella, ‘The Turn of the Screw’. Pedretti previously played as Nellie ‘Nel’ Crain in ‘The Haunting of Hill House’.
Her role as Dani in the next season is to be a governess sent to Bly Manor to look after two orphaned children. What started as a normal babysitting job turns into a horrific experience for her as the manor is haunted.
The book was originally published in 1898 and revolves around Dani who is told to care for Miles and Flora and there is also Mrs. Grose, the housekeeper. There has been no guarantee as to whether the series will stick to the book, but we can be sure that it’s going to be a spooky trip.

Mike Flanagan is also rumored to be using the same cast from the previous season for a whole new set of roles. Olivia Crain actress, Carla Gugion, previously seemed to be giving a nod to this possibility, “Mike and I really love collaborating and working together and an opportunity where a schedule allows for us to do that, we will, and I would be honoured to.”
Oliven Jackson-Cohen who was Luke Grain in ‘The Haunting of Hill House’ also teased that this brand new season is going to be ‘very exciting’. Yet, he refuses to answer whether or not he’s going to be in the series, claiming “I will get shot if I ever answer that question.”
But the teasing he gave was enough to keep us intrigued, “I would love to answer that question. All I can say is that Bly Manor is going to be incredible. It’s a very, very exciting story from what I’ve heard.”
