HBO’s Silicon Valley Ends With 6th Season, 7 Episodes & Airs Late 2019
3rd profiling show of HBO.
The HBO’s Silicon Valley will be coming to an end with a sixth season alongside seven episodes slated to air towrds late 2019. The show which trails the marginal of struggles and occasional achievements of a group of startup employees trying to maneuver the technology world, beating out rivalry products as well as securing funds has been airing since April 2014.
Silicon Valley had centered on characters like Richard Hendricks – Thomas Middleditch, who was software engineers happening to invent forms of file compression that amount him and his other employees, Dinesh – Kumail Nanjiani and Gilfoyle -Martin Starr on a trip towards creating a paradigm shift of new products defined as New Internet. However, TJ Miller – Erlich Bachman was equally a major character of the show, up until he was written off in Season 4.
That being said, Silicon Valley has however managed to provide a timely commentary on the often ludicrous situations, trends, stereotypes and real life action that emerges from the Northern California Technology Hub. It would be recalled that the end of 5th Season witnessed Pied Piper managing to avoid ceding control of its new network, in order to compete with Hooli, – Silicon Valley comical composite of both Facebook, Google and China.
The scenario however resulted into a rare bit of optimistic achievement for the group, most especially as their virtual currency began taking off and Pied Piper can eventually start expanding. Indeed, it will be interesting and quite memorable to see how the 6th Season will wrap up the show.
Tagged would be the shortest season ever with just seven episodes, King of the Hill co-creator Mike Judge and Barry co-creator Alec Berg, tends to head towards a favorable storytelling, whereby Richard and his crew no matter how the characters go will ultimately end up back Square one.
“Silicon Valley has been a career and life highlight for us. We’ll miss it desperately, but we’ve always let Pied Pipers journey guide the way, and Season 6 seems to be the fitting conclusion.
We are forever indebted to our incredible cast, crew, and partners at HBO. At a certain point, there’s only so much we can do to make the world a better place.” Berg and Judge said in a joint statement.
Undeniably, there might be a little challenge while trying to end the show neatly and in such a short time, but we can trust HBO – Chernobyl is a proof of its amazing work. Silicon Valley remains the third profiling show of HBO after the Veep and Game of Thrones.
