Airing July 19, Meet Your Lion King Actors & New Characters

Can you actually believe we’re only 49days away from airing the Lion King live action debut? Jon Favreau, the Director of the upcoming movie  is about to test the Mouse House Magic once more with the reproduction of the famed film back in the 90’s.

To bring this to light, the studio has allotted new posters of the animated-realistic version of major actors and new characters from the Lion King. Remaking the then popular movie – Lion King  could go either amazingly cool or horrible, but from the looks of the characters by Waterballoon, it seems Favreau is trending towards the best for its viewers.

The new characters posters for the cast include a look at Simba, Nala as young cubs and as adults (Beyonce Knowles-Carter and Donald Glover) after they re-united. Mufasa and Scar as well as Timon, Pumbaa, Rafiki and Zazu also featured in the upcoming movie.

Other casts include Seth Rogen as Pumbaa; Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar; James Earl Jones as Mufasa, Billy Eichner as Timon, Alfre Woodard as Sarabi, Simba’s mother; John Kani as Rafiki and John Oliver as Zazu.

However, the Lion King is expected to be the movie for the summer after Aladdin. In honor of 100 days until the movie is set to hit theaters, Disney dropped its first full-length trailer that made fans of the 1994 animated classic emotional. Trailer Here⬇⬇
