Artist Re-Visualize Disney’s Princesses In A More Realistic Way
“My perspective of these childhood icons shifted”
Fascinated with Disney’s princesses, Andhika Muksin has been photo-shopping Ariel, Pocahontas as well as other princesses into celebrity photos for quite some time now.
Not until recently, the Indonesian Artist decided to make some adjustment by bringing reality into their lives. He has now exposed away the glam surrounding our beloved girls and replaced it with Pizzas, apples, dragons other fundamental everyday life activities and snap chat self-photos.

Speaking to Buzz Feed, Muksin acknowledged he had been obsessed with Disney film and characters while growing up, adding that him becoming an adult made him view the characters from a much more complex point of view.

“Like millions of others, [I] grew up watching Disney films and obsessing over the characters. But as I became an adult, my perspective of these childhood icons also shifted.
I started to see them from a much more complex point of view […] then ideas started popping in my head — like Aurora are such a graceful and reserved character, but I bet she’d lose it a bit at Coachella.”
