Send in your feedback.

When you picture the scene of both Chernobyl & Games of Thrones, the first thing that comes to the mind could certainly be their anthologies. It could also be how they are both the recently most watched HBO’s series or could it be the different storylines played by actors who seemingly depicted real human emotions and feelings.

Honestly, though, when it comes to Game of Thrones and Chernobyl, let’s face it: What you really care about is their different storyline – Who sat on the Iron Throne & the Dramatic story centered on nuclear disaster occurrences in 1986, depicting how important lives of people are.

Game of Thrones

The HBO’s Game of Throne 2011-2019, played by Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Kit Harignton (Jon Snow), Maisie Willaims (Arya Stark) and many more leading characters, certainly portrayed great strength. Of course, the Sprawling HBO drama had got the world anticipating for 8 years.

From the south to the savage eastern land, to the icy North and ancient wall that protects the kingdom from mysterious darkness beyond, the powerful families of a Seven Kingdom were locked in a battle for the Iron Throne. Being a story of nobility, honor, conseqest, triumph, nobility, and treachery, the storyline which had long-been-watched yearly by millions of fans started captivating, attractive up until the end, that gave a dissatisfying conclusion – Bran Stark Got the Iron Throne – Really? Yes, Really. .

Still, for the purpose of comparing these two HBO’s movie, Waterballoon figured that the seven predecessor of Game of Thrones would be the definitive storyline to focus on rather than the concluding aspect.

Chernobyl

Indeed, HBO’s Chernobyl is still filming, yet topping the IMDB’s chart with a 9.7 rating and a total 52,000votes. While the finale of Game of Thrones left a void and many loopholes for fan, Chernobyl is another amazing drama released along the line. If you had opted for “Cancel HBO Subscription, You might want to re-consider leaving your subscription or subscribing again. Played by Jared Harris, Paul Ritter and Stellan Skarsgard, Chernobyl has emerged a frontrunner providing a horrifying look at the 1986 disaster which rippled almost an entire continent.

Some of us were adults in 1986, some were children or teenagers, or perhaps never existed then and because of these, we all have different reflection of Chernobyl. For those who literally know nothing about the disaster, Chernobyl is an eye-opener. Similarly, for those who do know what happened, the series is a near-a- perfect-recreation of the events that occurred in Soviet Ukraine on the morning of April 27, 1986 – It is a real life occurrence movie as compared to Game of Thrones.

Regardless, both have proven to be worthy assets of HBO, alongside Breaking Bad, The Wire, and The Sopranos. But which remain the most captivating? Send your feedback to contact@waterballoon.me. Game of Throne might however have been epic-adventure thrilled, but the HBO’s Chernobyl is currently the trending storm.
