How Many Movies Tom Holland Has Left For Marvel Universe?
After a failure, it’s only right that Sony does their best with their successful reboot of the franchise
Spider-man is some of the most popular superheroes to have ever been turned into a movie. Sony did poor with ‘The Amazing Spider-man’ and to redeem that, they worked with Marvel production team to bring aboard a completely new Spider-man to the movie. They signed a total of 6 movies with 3 appearances in other movies by Marvel Studios and 3 solos.
So far, Tom Holland has appeared as Spider-man 3 times in ‘Captain America: Civil War’, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, and ‘Avengers: Endgame’. He’s also starred in his own solo movies in ‘Homecoming’ and currently playing ‘Far From Home’. This last movie showed how Peter Parker dealt with the death of his mentor and learns about trust (that’s all we have to say, we won’t spoil anything in this article!).
He has one solo movie left and Sony Pictures has one last shot for Spider-man. But there is a very high chance that they will extend the contract seeing the potentials with our young Spider-man. After a failure, it’s only right that Sony does their best with their successful reboot of the franchise.
Meanwhile, Marvel and Disney have also successfully acquired Fox and gained their rights on ‘X-men’ and ‘Fantastic Four’. While some people think the last movie is going to be the end of the Spider-man, the young hero still has a lot of development to show and fans are especially growing fond of the dorky boy.
‘Far From Home’ is also the last movie in Phase 3, marking the end of an era for Marvel. With the passing of some of the greatest heroes and characters such as Tony Stark, Natasha Romanoff, Vision, and Steve Rogers, we’re most probably going to see a new team of Avengers in the future with new faces (and some familiar ones).
Shang-chi’s casting and plot writing are advancing very well and Keanu Reeves is already in the talks for the possibility of playing as one of The Eternals. ‘Black Widow’, slated to hit the theater on 2020, is currently under production and will mark the beginning of Phase 4.
