Marvel Changes Iconic Comic Books Into Audiobooks
Free for library users.
Partnering with a digital content producer Dreamscape Media, Marvel Entertainment is planning to change quite a number of Marvel’s comic stories as a speak-it-to-me style Audiobooks. The titles were speculated will be available in September.
Working on a two dozen and more iconic stories, the digital content producer – Dreamscape revealed that the titles will be like The Ultimate Spider-Man, X-Men: Codename Wolverine and Daredevil: The Man Without Fear and The Ultimate X-Men among others.
Once achieved, the books will be available through several outlets such as Apple Books, Amazon, Overdrive, Google Play, Audible and any other audio-book platforms. While it will also be available for free to library users through an app called Hoopla, Marvel has however been heading towards the era of audio adaption in recent years.
In 2018, Marvel had released an original, 10-episode podcast series popularly known as Wolverine: The Long Night and also released it further with a second season called Wolverine: The Lost Trail. Interestingly, the Entertainment Studio had also partnered with successive fiction publisher –Series Box to produce a collection of stories that centers on Marvel Characters, each of which came with both a print as well as with an Audio Version.
