Mom Loses Half Of Her Body Weight For Son’s Dream Wedding

Presently, she exercises 7 days per week!

To avoid embarrassing her son on his wedding day, a mother has revealed how she had to shed about half of her body weight.

Clare Howard, aged 48, has always been attacked for her weight, and when her son – Luke said he was getting married, she decided she doesn’t want to weigh 22 stone on her son’s wedding day.

Clare Howard, 48, weighed almost 22 stone and believing she would embarrass her son at his wedding she decided to undergo a weight loss transformation

Joining a Slimming World Group and cooking for herself a healthier food, Clare has shed 11 stone and has gone from size 26 to size 10. This, however, means the ex-karate enthusiast has taken up her favorite sport once again as she now exercises seven days per week.

Clare has since lost a whopping 11 stone in weight and has gone from a dress size 26 to a size 10

Clare achieved her weight loss hit after joining the Slimming World session in Cwmbwrla, Wales and speaking about her experience, Clare said: “ It all started when my son announced he was getting married and I honestly didn’t want to embarrass my son because I was so huge.”

Before Clare shed the pounds, she has been watching a program on Snowdon Railways and had always felt she wouldn’t be able to climb the mountain ever again

She added: “And by the time he got wedded in November, I had officially lost about six stones and four pounds.  When the photos were matched up, everyone was amazed and then I looked and saw that my son was proud of me. I didn’t think I would lose that much, but sincerely I’ve gone from 21 stone and 13 Pounds to 10 Stones and Seven and ½ pounds currently.”

However, before Clare shed the pounds, she has been watching a program on Snowdon Railways and had always felt she wouldn’t be able to climb the mountain ever again.

Clare now exercises seven days a week and plans to compete in karate matches, she previously enjoyed

But things changed, as she hit her main target and carefully followed a healthy food lifestyle.
