Sonic The Hedgehog Movie Delayed into February 2020

Extra work of VFX team should certainly pay off.

Jeff Fowler, Director – the live action Sonic the Hedgehog film has confirmed that his teams would be redesigning sonic following the initial design displayed in the movie’s first trailer. To this effect, Sonic the Hedgehog movie has now been delayed into February 2020, particularly to be in the cinema on Valentine’s Day – 14th February 2020.

Responding to Jeff’s Tweet

While it has captured viewers’ attention with its first teaser and with Jim Carrey as the villain, it has been tagged as a piece of sad news for Sonic lovers. Some fan considered the decision as a good sign that makers are more concern about the demand of fans. However, Jeff via its Twitter disclosed the delayed with an hashtag   #novfxartistswereharmedinthemakingofthismovie.”

Expectedly, the VFX teams of artists would be the happiest as their work to making the movie better will be a bit easy – although, generating VFX is quite a long process that requires extensive work. With an extra time almost impossible for the movie – Sonic the Hedgehog due to its initial November release date, the VFX artist with an hundred days benchmark now can now do an amazing job for fans. Earlier slated for November 8 2019, there is however no changes mentioned to the story for now.
