‘The OA’ Is Officially… Canceled By Netflix

So sad to see another good show leave.

‘The OA’ is an insanely good, bizarre tv show that we won’t be able to see in the near future. Who would have thought that when Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij met, they could produce something that keeps us wondering and sitting at the edge of our seats. But again, Brit Marling is a genius.

But that’s all coming to an end despite the cliffhanger ending in season 2. Because Netflix has canceled season 3 of the show according to what they told Variety.

Brit Marling stars as the female lead who was blind when she disappeared 7 years ago but returned with her vision restored completely. The story debuted in December 2016 and continued for the second season just four months ago in March. Its successful initial launch was a surprise to may to see the show getting canceled.

RT is giving the show an 84% rating which is great and deserving for the brilliant show. This brings Marling to post a letter for the fans on her Instagram.

She didn’t forget to include some well-drawn illustrations and a portrait sketch of her show.

The show has a total of 16 episodes and ended with a cliffhanger in season 2. Some people think this is disrespectful to viewers who have been left hanging with the show. And this is not the first time Netflix’s decision to cancel a show is greeted with much anger. Not to mention they are losing popular shows in the future.

The reason for cancellation is not yet revealed, but guess it’s time to use #SaveTheOA @Fox or somewhere else.
