Fans have been diligently scanning through the troops of heroes and soldiers that Doctor Strange warped to the final battle. Russo Brothers teased that, yes, Richard Rider who is later known as Nova is amongst them.

If that’s true, then Marvel is following the character’s development accordingly because he gained Xandarian Worldmind after Xandar was destroyed before ‘Avengers: Infinity War’. The five-year time skip would be just enough for him to become a superhero.

Then comes the confession: “That was actually a joke on our part,” says Joe Russo in an email. Nova was clearly not participating in that big war throughout ‘Endgame’ and Phase 4 is confirmed to have no Nova in their schedule.

But that’s not everything about him because Kevin Feige said this in 2018 to ComicBook, “Nova is… if we have a big board with a bunch of characters that have more immediate potential, Nova is on that board. Because of the connection to the Guardians universe, because there are more than one examples to pull from in the comics that are interesting. And you’re absolutely right, he was in the earliest drafts of the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’.”
