26 Year-Old Woman Gets A Maternity Photo Shoot With Her Thesis, And Every Student Relate

“Either get a Ph. D. or give me a grandchild”

Precisely, it is that time of the year when so many students across many counties are handing in their graduation thesis.

Being the most important academic achievement ever accomplished in the academic world, thesis proves and test the knowledge students have gained during the years spent studying.

While students finally reap the reward of their hard work, they are however being creative to commemorate this major landmark.

A 26-year old graduating student, Sarah Whelan Curtis has indeed stole the spotlight by embarking on a hilarious yet touching maternity photo shoot with her Thesis. She was spotted giving birth to her thesis in the shoot.

Undergoing her Ph.D. at Emory University in Atlanta Georgia, Curtis recently just finished her thesis on epigenetics which took her 4 years to complete. She did break the news on Twitter by doing a maternity photo shoot with her work.

Surprisingly, her picture went viral quickly and now many students are relating to the idea of comparing writing a thesis to a very long pregnancy labor.

When her thesis was due, Curtis grabbed a baby blanket, wrapped her thesis in it, and had her husband take pictures of her ‘newborn’. So many people loved the idea and her tweet has gathered more than 252k likes and almost 50k retweets.

She also received a lot of praise and other graduate student started sharing photos of their own babies – Thesis.

Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle, Curtis also explained that her family did made remarks concerning her future plans. “I have a lot of nieces and nephews, and my mom told me, ‘either get a Ph.D. or give me a grandchild. I got my doctorate,” she said.
