Indiana Police Department Allows People To Pay Their Parking Tickets By Giving Cat Food

It’s no lie that environment-friendly pets like cats and dogs are one of the best things that have happened to humans. Nevertheless, it can be quite saddening to witness some individuals refusing happy moments with pets by abandoning them on the streets – Cats and Dog are usually the victims.

Well, the upside remains that there are some people who have dedicated their lives to assist these poor homeless pets in shelters. And one good example of such action is the Muncie Animal Care and Services in Indiana. The Animal Care and Services assist people in adopting new pets as well as help them find a new home.

Muncie Animal Care and Services partnered with local police to allow citizens to pay their parking tickets by assisting abandoned kitties

This, however, requires resources and it literally comes down to the simple yet bitter truth that more people are still willing to leave a problem unsolved. Since the Muncie care and services got overrun with kittens and cats, an unforeseen partner emerged amidst the chaos.

The Indiana Police Department reached a consensus to step in and assist by offering the services a substitute for their problem. Instead of paying their parking tickets with money, the police department encouraged citizens to donate to the Muncie Care and Services Shelter.

Together, they took to social media to share the initiative and added a list of things people can offer. Wet/pate canned food, cat foods, blankets, and beds were some of the things encouraged to be brought in as donate.
