Is this monkey angry? Possibly, since we have Global Warming and deforestation charges on us.
Is this monkey high? Also possibly. Since it just had to flip a whole family who had nothing to do with the monkey.
Alas, this is one of the best experience a family who’s on a vacation in Bali will never forget! Judy (37) and Simon (36), are bringing their three kids, Elijah (13), Jimmy (11) and Kayleigh (8) on a vacation to Bali, Indonesia. They met this particularly angry monkey at a sacred forest for the species.
The family asked for a local tour guide to help them take a picture with the apes around them. Monkeys are curious creatures and so, one of them came over to check things out. But what they didn’t expect was that this monkey actually flipped his middle finger to the camera!
It’s one thing to take pictures with monkeys and another to take with one that flips the middle finger.
The family comes from Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. During their vacation in Bali, they decided to take a one-day tour at a popular tourist spot, Ubud Monkey Forest.
Judy recalls the day, “As part of the tour, we went to the monkey forest. I thought it would be a fun experience. While we were there, a guide offered to take our photo. But as he did, a monkey suddenly came in front of the camera. The guide had peanuts in his hand and then began feeding him. It was really funny.
“As I was flicking through the photos afterward, I noticed that in one of them the monkey was actually giving us the finger.”
It was a picture taken from December 2018 and had only been shared to the world earlier this week. This made the trip truly special and unforgettable – and Judy plans to return again with her family.’
“I posted the photo to my Facebook and Instagram and all my family and friends thought it was hilarious. The experience was one of the highlights of our trip, and the photo itself is something we can look back on to remember forever.
“Bali is such a beautiful place and we can’t wait to go back one day.”
